About Mars Live Wallpaper
A live wallpaper featuring Mars, Earth and the Moon in HD, slowly turning in front of our own Milky Way galaxy. It is designed to look excellent yet truthful: the planets are real NASA-based surface maps, lit and rendered as true spheres.
No special permissions are required. No ads, no tracking, no network access.
Features
Five worlds: Mars, Earth, Earth at night (city lights), the Moon and Pluto
High-resolution textures mapped onto a sphere with limb darkening, axial tilt and lighting
Per-planet atmosphere glow with adjustable density
Adjustable rotation speed (or stop it entirely) and planet size
Optional parallax: the planet reacts when you swipe between homescreens
Live preview in the settings; drag sideways to spin the planet by hand
Native OpenGL ES 2.0 renderer
Setting the wallpaper
Open the app and tap Set Wallpaper, then Set wallpaper in the system preview and choose home screen, lock screen or both. You can also long-press an empty spot on the homescreen and choose Wallpapers → Live wallpapers; some devices do this through the Android Settings app instead.
